Event description:
The Fundamentals of GD&T Program is designed to develop a basic working knowledge in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing per the ASME Y14.5, 2009 standard. This program covers what people need to know in order to work in an engineering, manufacturing and quality environment. The basic philosophies of how, when, and where to apply GD&T along with tips for producing quality parts are included. Discussion also covers the application of geometric tolerancing to design, manufacturing and quality control. The program materials contain a variety of computer color animated graphics and video clips which allow the students to clearly understand the concepts and keep participants engaged throughout the program.
Who should attend? Engineers, machinists, inspectors, tool makers, operators, quality professionals, and all those needing to understand engineering drawings.
